Cards

I use cards with pictures by the youngest learners.
Aims: revise and strengthen vocabulary

These cards are made for the Happy Street textbook we use at school. I show them every lesson at the beginning and I ask a lot of questions. Every time we do a new vocabulary I join a next card. When I show a card for example with a rubber I ask the whole class like that: Is it a car?? Answer: No, it isn't. Question: Is it a ruler? Answer: No, it isn't. Question: So what is it? Answer: It is a rubber. then I can ask about the plural, so I say: one rubber, two ..... Answer: Rubbers. Also I can practise colours on it, so I ask: What colour is the rubber? Answer: It is green, red and white. After a few vocabulary revising together, I ask one after another.
