Task: Why so many wifes? The well-known reason why Henry VIII kept divorcing and remarrying for 6 times is that he demanded a male heir to protect the Tudor dynasty on the English throne. What were the other reasons?

Preparation: My preparation time was rather spent on finding factual info.

Process: After finding the appropriate facts I started writing. I usually use online dictionary (https://www.macmillandictionary.com) for checking different grammatical structures. I always get insecure when I start writing in issues where I am normally certain. This forum contribution was quite easy regard to the length of the text.

The first male heir he had with Catherine of Aragon died in seven weeks and the only other male-child he had with Jane Seymour. But one male child in those times wasn't enough so he wanted others. I also think that women were for him passion and he was afraid of loneliness.
